We're excited to announce the launch of Montana Credit Union’s new website! Founded in the early 1940s, Montana Credit Union takes pride in the local cultural understanding they instill in every interaction. They currently serves over 25,000 members in 44 Montana counties.

From the outset of the project, PixelSpoke worked with the Montana team to identify three primary goals of the website redesign: 

  1. Create an intuitive user experience to convert and support members
  2. Position Montana Credit Union as a trusted guide
  3. Communicate what sets Montana Credit Union apart

 

Creating an intuitive user experience to convert and support members

Montana Credit Union’s new website is high-speed, user-friendly, mobile-optimized, accessible, and secure. Whether visitors are looking for information about a product or service, are ready to apply for a loan or open an account, or need to find a nearby ATM, the site’s revamped navigation gets them where they need to go. Product pages include clear next steps so that visitors can seamlessly continue their journey. 

Positioning Montana Credit Union as a trusted guide

It's clear from the start that members are the heroes of the Montana Credit Union story. The credit union refers to itself as a guide, and throughout the site, the friendly tone, helpful resources, and invitations to call or stop by a branch reinforce this positioning. Its blog offers financial advice, including tips for security and fraud prevention, and a help page consolidates frequently asked questions.  

Communicating what sets Montana Credit Union apart

It’s unlikely that Montana Credit Union’s website will get confused with that of another financial institution. The website inspires an immediate sense of connection for Montana residents by featuring mouthwatering images that depict the state’s natural beauty. Paired with a rich and consistent color scheme, the visual effect is striking, to say the least. The leading image on the homepage even changes based on the time of day. Further down the page are four prominently featured key differentiators, and the credit union’s guiding values are emphasized throughout the site. 

Moving forward, Montana Credit Union and PixelSpoke look forward to continuing their partnership to further evolve the website and better support the financial well-being of Montana Credit Union members.
