Who We Are
We’re a worker-owned cooperative and certified B Corp that is constantly seeking Everybody Wins solutions — for our clients, our team, our community, and our world.
Building positive long-term relationships is our thing. At PixelSpoke, both clients and employees tend to stick around.
Our carefully developed learning environment keeps our team members at the forefront of new technology and ideas. That means we’re constantly challenging ourselves while bringing higher value to our clients.
PixelSpoke offers a personalized approach to web design backed by substantial research and industry knowledge.

Our Core Values
We’re serious about our core values — they shape how we communicate with clients and each other. They guide all of our decisions, including hiring employees, selecting clients, and working through difficult situations.
We work to understand each party’s interests, have a commitment to listening and empathy, and create multiple options for positive outcomes.
Solutions not Blame
We take ownership of problems, individually and collectively.
Improve Every Day
We are always looking for what we can start, stop, or continue doing to improve.
Enjoy the Journey
We are intentional about finding and sharing moments of joy and gratitude.
Curiosity with a Purpose
Constant learning is the fuel that leads to compelling ideas for our clients and our company.
We are open, honest, and vulnerable in our dealings with others.
We’re a curious, motivated, team-focused bunch. We also remember to have some fun along the way.
Since our founding over 15 years ago, PixelSpoke has grown into a tight-knit team of 15, spanning four states and four countries.
PixelSpoke is founded as Synotac (father + son in Bulgarian and Croatian) by father-son team Bill and Cameron Madill.
PixelSpoke makes its first hire and moves from a living room into a real office.
We change our name from Synotac to PixelSpoke to reflect our commitment to helping clients connect with customers online.
PixelSpoke becomes a B Corp, making a public commitment to its long-held belief that business can be a force for good.
PixelSpoke makes an intentional shift into the credit union industry, while still maintaining our broader focus on mission-driven companies.
PixelSpoke transitions from a single-member LLC to a worker-owned cooperative. Five founding team members become worker-owners.
Our Commitment to Impact
We don’t just have one bottom line — we have three. Our people, planet, and profit drive all of our business decisions.
Certified B Corp
As a B Corp, we believe that business can, and should be, a force for good. We balance purpose and profit by answering to a triple bottom line, measuring social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability as part of the nonprofit B Lab’s biannual certification process.
PixelSpoke is a worker-owned cooperative, which means we’re owned and run democratically by our worker owners. This ownership structure enables us to live our beliefs by promoting civic participation, reducing inequality, increasing employee engagement, and ensuring our long-term sustainability.
Committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
PixelSpoke stands against all forms of oppression, including racism, transphobia, classism, sexism, ableism, and xenophobia. Our shared passion for empathy, kindness, and positive change has motivated us to look deeply at our role in perpetuating systemic inequality. To make diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) a core focus in our company’s strategy, policies, and practices, we commit to taking focused and sustained action through listening to the voices of Black, Brown, Indigenous, and marginalized peoples, prioritizing ongoing DEI trainings for our team, bringing more historically untapped people into our community, advocating for legislative change, and supporting organizations that work toward expanding opportunity and creating a more just and equitable world.
We’ve joined TerraPass in the fight against climate change by funding projects that destroy greenhouse gases and produce renewable energy. Our low carbon footprint, coupled with the purchase of carbon offsets through TerraPass, has enabled us to significantly reduce our carbon footprint.
