We’re excited to announce the launch of Coast Central Credit Union’s new website!

Coast Central Credit Union is the largest member-owned financial institution in Northern California’s Humboldt, Del Norte and Trinity counties, with $2 billion in assets and 76,500 members. PixelSpoke is a B Corp marketing agency and worker-owned cooperative that specializes in web redesigns for credit unions.

The redesign project aimed to: 1) Incorporate bold colors and design elements to increase appeal to younger generations, 2) Customize the design on pages critical to their business and mission, including the “Join” and “Financial Wellness” pages, and 3) Make it easier for visitors to find what they need.

Coast Central’s refreshed website really pops! The restyled hero area immediately draws in a reader’s attention and subtle scrolling animations helps to highlight content throughout the page. A bold testimonial component offers compelling social proof for anyone who is considering joining the credit union, and recurring curved design motifs reinforce Coast Central’s energetic brand.

Customizing the design on critical pages

Coast Central is serious about financial wellness, and we wanted to make sure that its resources were represented in a compelling and user-friendly way. The page’s vibrant, full-color icons and illustrations help to clearly lay out Coast Central’s rich array of educational resources and tools. Similarly, the Join page design highlights the benefits of membership and breaks down the account opening process into four easy steps.

Making it easier for visitors to find what they need

With a new sticky sub-navigation option for long-scrolling pages, enhanced search capabilities, and a revamped footer that helps visitors navigate directly to frequently accessed pages, Coast Central’s refreshed website is more intuitive and more user-friendly.

The website is built using flexible WordPress templates that empower the Coast Central marketing team to update rates, product pages, photos, news, and other information as needed. Moving forward, Coast Central and PixelSpoke look forward to continuing their partnership to support the financial well-being of Coast Central members.
