We’re excited to announce the launch of 1st Advantage Federal Credit Union’s new website!

Founded in 1951, Virginia-based 1st Advantage Federal Credit Union has grown to an organization with assets of more than $950 million and approximately 70,500 members located around the world.

From the outset of the project, PixelSpoke and 1st Advantage defined three primary goals:

  1. Make it easy
  2. Position 1st Advantage as a trusted adviser
  3. Speak its members’ language

 

Making it easy

The new website offers an intuitive user experience to drive loans and account openings and get visitors where they need to go. Powerful and flexible product pages offer helpful guidance, critical information, and clear next steps for anyone interested in opening an account or applying for a loan. Visitors can also use calculators that are seamlessly integrated with the site’s rates tables to calculate approximate loan payments.

Positioning 1st Advantage as a trusted adviser

1st Advantage’s new website isn’t just about pushing products. A number of tools and resources are designed to guide members and prospects in their financial journeys and help address any questions they might have along the way.

In addition to a robust and frequently updated blog, the credit union showcases its strong presence in the community through its Events section and Community Impact page. The new website also offers a custom “Help” section that includes great search capability, the ability to organize content by category, and the ability to embed relevant FAQs on specific product pages.

Speaking its members’ language

1st Advantage’s members span a wide range of demographics and professions, including military members, members in the medical fields, young members just entering the workforce, and many more. A guided selling tool on the homepage sends visitors to best-fit products based on their current life stages and financial goals.

The website is built using flexible WordPress templates that empower the 1st Advantage marketing team to update rates, product pages, photos, blog, and other information as needed. Moving forward, 1st Advantage and PixelSpoke look forward to continuing their partnership to further evolve the website and better support the financial well-being of 1st Advantage members.
